Harvest Club
The Harvest Club is our Exclusive Seniors Club that offers a friendly social environment to The First State Bank and the community. The Harvest Club offers trips, activities, and special events.
The Harvest Club has been in existence since 1989. The Harvest Club was developed for our senior citizen customers over the age of 55. To qualify for membership you must meet the age requirement (55) and have $1,500 in a savings account OR a total of $15,000 in CDs. A joint account covers both husband and wife.
The Harvest Club offers various features, including:
Service Charge Free Checking - No minimum balance required, write as many checks as you like.
Service Charge Free Checking Plus - Personalized checks, money orders, traveler's checks, cashier's checks, all issued without fees.
Savings Account Bonus - For any newborn grandchild, we will open a $5.00 savings account. For twins, we will open a $50.00 savings account.
Trips - Special trips, including our famous "Mystery Trips" are offered through out the year for members, at special rates. Non-members may attend regularly scheduled trips, as well. However, the "Mystery Trips" are reserved for members only. See our Calendar for details.
Free Copying Service - Free copying of paperwork and documents (Limit 10 copies per month)
Free Lamination - 2 free laminations of billfold sized items, per month.
Free Notary Service
Free Movies, Luncheons and Other Activities - A free theater party, special event, or activity will be held each month. Luncheons often features speakers to provide exciting opportunities to explore new topics. The activities are for Harvest Club members only. See our Calendar for details.
Visa Debit Card - Harvest Club members can also apply for The First State Bank Debit Card. This card allows you 24 hour access to your account from any ATM machine. You can also use your Visa Debit Card to make purchases at thousands of locations; including gas stations, retailers, grocery stores, restaurants and many more.
Monthly Newsletter - A monthly newsletter, full of information about the Harvest Club, trips and activities, is sent to each member.
Referral Program – Print and complete the Referral Form to recommend a friend for the Harvest Club. If your friend joins the Harvest Club, The First State Bank will present you with a $10 “thank you” gift.
